CalCert HERS Test

Due to new California state regulations, contractors are now required to hire an outside source to perform tests on HVAC systems. One of these tests include pressure tests for leaks. This is a state regulation to ensure that customers are getting what they paid for, a quality job and efficient system. Anytime a furnace, AC, or duct work has been added or replaced, the state requires that these systems pass a CalCerts HERS Test.
